Nizar is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon with special interest in minimal invasive surgery. He trained in thoracic surgery in several hospitals including Royal
Brompton, Harefield and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He completed his CCT in Italy in the University of Bologna in 2014; following that he moved to UK and completed multiple fellowships in Thoracic and tracheal Surgery. He was recently appointed as Thoracic Consultant in Harefield Hospital, one of the worlds leading hospitals for cardiothoracic surgery. He is a researcher and currently leading multiple projects in thoracic adult and paediatric surgery, with a special interest in quality of life and enhanced recovery after surgery. He has presented and lectured at multiple national and international conferences and currently is an active member of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
